Watch out for that left turn lane on Maple by the old library
I kept getting stuck trying to turn left onto Maple during the morning rush. Cars just wouldn't let me in. Last Tuesday, I tried going straight through the light, then using the crosswalk on the far side to become a pedestrian and walk my bike across. It added maybe 90 seconds but felt way safer. Has anyone else found a weird little workaround for a bad intersection?

So you're basically playing a game of real-life Frogger with your bike now? I love that the official solution to bad city planning is just to get off and pretend to be a person walking.

My buddy got so fed up with the left onto Elm, he started taking three rights around the block instead. Says it's actually faster now.
