So you're telling me a forty dollar vest that makes you look like a crossing guard is the best money you ever spent on bike gear. That's kind of sad when you think about it, all those fancy winter jackets and lights and whatever else people buy, and the thing that actually works is the cheap neon getup. I mean it makes sense, cars can't hit what they can see, but it's funny that the answer is just being really really visible. Feels like we all overthink this stuff when the fix is a piece of plastic that screams at drivers. Anyway I'm not even being sarcastic, I might grab one because getting nearly run over every other ride is getting old.
