Why does nobody talk about how a bike shop guy in Denver talked me out of clip pedals
I walked into a shop on Broadway two summers ago ready to drop $120 on clipless pedals because a fast guy in my office swore they were the only way to ride. The mechanic looked at my 4 mile commute with two stoplights and said I would hate unclipping at every light, so I bought $25 straps instead and never fell once. What gear did a shop talk you out of, and were they right?
