Best comedies vs best dramas - which wins for a full weekend binge?

I got into a debate with my buddy Mike at the laundromat last Saturday about whether comedies or dramas are better for a marathon session. He argued that something like The Office or Parks and Rec keeps you going because the laughs make time fly. I told him that stuff like Breaking Bad or Ozark pulls you in deeper because the tension makes you hit 'next episode' without thinking. Mike said he tried watching The Wire but fell asleep after 3 episodes, while I couldn't stop until 2 AM. Which side do you lean on for a full weekend binge - comedies that keep it light or dramas that hook you?

Similarly, you notice people in REAL life either need the laughs or the heavy stuff to actually feel like they escaped their week.
