Finally finished a 5-season show in 3 weeks my friend recommended
Exactly this. My buddy kept pushing this crime drama on me for months (you know, the one with the detective who has the weird memory thing). I finally started it two weeks ago and got completely hooked after the first 3 episodes. The pacing is so tight I ended up watching 4 episodes a night, which is crazy for me since I usually fall asleep after one. What really got me was how the characters actually grow over time, not just the same drama recycled each season. Season 3 especially had this twist that made me rewatch the whole thing because I missed so many clues the first time. Has anyone else found a show that completely changed how you see the first season after you finish the last one?

Started binging a sci-fi series called Dark Matter last month and it did exactly that to me. By the time I finished season 2, I had to go back and rewatch the first few episodes because the whole story flipped on its head. The show drops these tiny details early on that mean nothing until you understand the bigger picture later. Season 3 had a reveal that made me realize the main character was lying about something from episode 1. It's wild how a good writer can plant seeds that only bloom seasons later. What show had that effect on you where the first episodes felt totally different after you finished?

52 episodes into Lost and realizing that first scene on the beach was actually a decade later taught me how much we miss the obvious lies around us every day, @fiona737.
