Found a trick to skip the boring parts of The Wire on rewatch
I just skip every scene with the politicians talking and the show flows way better, anyone else do that to speed up a binge?

Right, because who needs the whole POINT of the show when you can just watch Stringer get mad about property taxes. Skip the chess match too while you're at it, it's just boring people moving stuff around on a board. Might as well just watch the "previously on" segments on YouTube and call it a day. There isn't a "boring" part of The Wire, there's just "the part you lack the attention span for." You're basically speedrunning a novel by skipping every chapter that has character development.

Man my buddy fell asleep three times trying to watch season 2 and still calls it his favorite show.
