Hit 50 shows in my queue this week and had to rethink my whole plan

I always thought having a big backlog was a good thing, but I hit 50 shows sitting in my watchlist on Tuesday. Started going through them and realized half of them were stuff I added months ago and don't even care about anymore. Spent two hours just deleting shows I know I'll never actually start. Now I'm down to 15 solid options and picking one for tonight feels way easier. Anyone else ever realize your backlog is just clutter?

Is curating your watchlist actually more satisfying than watching the shows themselves?

The whole process of finding shows, reading reviews, deciding what fits your mood, and organizing them into lists can feel like you’re actually doing something productive. It gives you a sense of control over your limited free time, like you’re really getting the most out of your subscription. But then you finally sit down to watch something and realize the anticipation was better than the actual episode. I’ve got a dozen shows on my list right now that I keep telling myself I’ll get to, but I’m starting to think the real enjoyment is the hunt, not the watch.
