Hot take: I don't get the hype around 'Breaking Bad' at all

My buddy Dave tried to convince me last week that it's the best show ever made, but I watched 5 episodes and just felt bored. The slow pacing and all the family drama put me to sleep. Has anyone else given up on a critically acclaimed show?

Finales are meant to be watched, not slept through. He missed the resolution of three seasons of buildup. That's a shame, really.
