I finally tried watching shows at 1.25x speed after a guy at the laundromat in Dayton swore by it
I was folding shirts next to this older guy last Tuesday and he said he got through all 6 seasons of a drama in under two weeks by bumping the speed up just a notch. I gave it a shot on a slow mystery series and honestly I caught way more of the plot than I usually do, though the chase scenes felt a little silly. Does speeding up shows ruin the mood for you, or is it just me being picky about it?
