My power went out right at the climax of Severance's season finale

I was in my living room in Austin during a huge storm last week, totally glued to the screen. The lights flickered and died just as Mark was about to open that door, and I almost lost my mind. I had to drive to my sister's house 20 minutes away just to use her wifi and finish the last 10 minutes on my laptop. Has anyone else had a binge totally wrecked by bad weather?

Honestly it feels like that final straw moment keeps moving. First it was a fridge full of spoiled food after a storm, then missing a big game during an outage. Now it's just the constant low grade stress of modern life being so fragile. One bad grid day and you're cut off from work, food, even basic info. A generator stops being a luxury and starts feeling like a required part of the house, like a smoke detector.
