Rant: Lost 40 bucks on that hyped crime drama everyone loves
I caved and bought the full season of "The Winding Path" on Amazon. 40 dollars. Everyone in this sub acts like it's the second coming of The Wire. I watched 7 episodes and I'm bored out of my mind. The pacing is glacial. Nothing happens for like 3 episodes straight. The main character just stares at walls. I kept waiting for the big twist everyone mentions. Then the finale comes and it's just... nothing. A wet fart of an ending. I want my money and my 10 hours back. Has anyone else wasted cash on a show that everyone else seems to love?

yeah that ending was honestly just nothing happening for way too long

Did you get to that episode where he just sits in the garage for basically the whole runtime? I fast forwarded through half of it and still felt like I missed nothing. The whole thing felt like they were trying too hard to be artsy instead of just telling a decent story.
