Rewatching The Office and noticed something weird about the background extras

I was on my fourth rewatch of The Office (you know, the US version) and started paying attention to the background actors in the bullpen area. Turns out, there are only like 12 distinct extras who rotate through, and I found this breakdown on a fan wiki that tracked every single one across all 9 seasons. Does anyone else get distracted by stuff like this or am I just watching too much?

i started doing the same thing with Parks and Rec and now i can't unsee the same 5 party guests at every single Pawnee function lol

you know what's weird though, the extras in the background of The Office all have name tags that are just random office names like "Smith" and "Johnson" but i swear some of them are the same actors from the pilot wearing different wigs. like there's one guy who i think is actually just a production assistant who got thrown in front of the camera because they needed bodies that day.
