Serious question, is The Witcher worth finishing?

I got through season 2 of The Witcher last week and honestly, I think people are overhyping it. The story jumps around so much I had to rewatch three episodes just to follow who was where. Am I the only one who found season 2 kind of a mess or did I miss something that makes it all click?

Exactly what you said about the three conversations at a party is spot on. The show tries to follow Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri all doing completely different things in different places, and then expects us to care when they finally meet up again. It felt like watching three separate shows that someone shoved together with no warning. Episode 4 with Yennefer losing her magic was actually interesting, but then they cut right back to Geralt fighting a monster and I forgot what was even happening. That's not storytelling, that's just throwing plot at the wall.

Stick with it but honestly the jumping around doesn't really get better. It's like when you try to follow three different conversations at a party and end up just nodding along.
