That week I watched Dark on Netflix and ruined my sleep schedule completely

I started Dark on a Tuesday night. Figured I'd watch one episode before bed. Three hours later I was still glued to the screen trying to understand the family tree. By Friday I had finished both seasons and showed up to a client meeting with bags under my eyes. Has anyone else had a show completely take over your life like that?

Hard same here. I had to set a hard alarm on my phone that goes off at 9:45 PM. When it goes off I have to shut off whatever show I'm watching no matter what. It's brutal sometimes but it works way better than trying to have self control in the moment. The trick for me was making it a physical thing I have to do like actually putting the remote in the other room. That way when I get tempted to watch one more episode I have to get up and walk over there which gives me time to think. Without that I'd still be up at 3 AM trying to figure out who everyone is in Dark season 3.

Put a hard rule on myself about not starting new episodes after 10 PM. Worked way better than trying to quit cold turkey.
