The crazy amount of times actors blink in Breaking Bad surprised me

So I was rewatching Breaking Bad last weekend (third time through, I know), and I stumbled on this weird fact that totally blew my mind. I found a fan site that counted how many times characters blink during certain scenes, and apparently Bryan Cranston only blinks like 3 or 4 times per minute in his Heisenberg moments. That's way less than normal, which is like 15 blinks a minute for most people. It's a tiny detail, but now I can't unsee it when I watch. It makes his intense stares even creepier, you know? Has anyone else noticed stuff like this in shows where small acting choices change the whole feel?

Honestly, I think you're reading way too much into this. Actors blink less on purpose all the time, it's just basic method stuff to look more intense, not some hidden genius move. Ngl, counting blinks feels like grasping at straws when the real magic of the show is the writing and pacing, not some tiny eyelid twitch.
