Three episodes in, I finally realized I had the wrong show queued up

Last night I sat down to finish a crime drama my buddy swore by. Got through two episodes and thought the pacing felt off. Third episode in I checked the title and it was some older detective show from 2011. My buddy meant the new one on a different service. Whole mix up happened because I typed the name wrong into the search bar. Took me about 2 hours to figure out my mistake. I still finished that old show, it was decent. Ever had a binge night go sideways like that?
