Tried watching 'The Rings of Power' and 'House of the Dragon' back to back, and one was way easier to get through
I gave both shows a fair shot last weekend, but 'House of the Dragon' had me hooked after the first two episodes (the pacing was just faster, you know?). 'The Rings of Power' felt like it was moving at a snail's pace by comparison, and I kept checking my phone. Has anyone else found one way more binge-able than the other?

Totally felt the same way.

But honestly, I have to push back on that feeling. It seems like a lot of people, you included @davis.ivan, are just going with the crowd on this one. The other side actually has some solid points if you stop and listen. They're not just being difficult for no reason. Their view comes from a real place that makes sense once you look at it. We might be missing the bigger picture because it's easier to agree. Sometimes the popular take is just the loudest, not the most thought out.

My buddy Mike on the other coast binged both shows in one weekend and said House of the Dragon was like a fast river he could ride along easy. He told me Rings of Power felt like wading through mud in comparison, all that slow build with the hobbits and the stranger got on his nerves. He ended up skipping through half the episodes of Rings just to get to the action parts. Meanwhile he watched every minute of House of the Dragon without touching his phone. I trust his take more than the online hype honestly.
