Why does every good show end on a massive cliffhanger now?
I don't know, the wait feels endless.

Idk, I binged this series last month and the finale left me staring at the screen for like ten minutes. Maybe it's just me but now I'm just scrolling through fan theories to cope.

Nah, cliffhangers are what keep you hooked and talking about the show. They make the wait part of the fun, honestly.

Remember that season two finale of Westworld where they left us with that giant robot army reveal. I sat there feeling totally cheated out of a real ending. @phoenix549 says the wait is fun, but I just forget key plot points over months. A good story should feel complete on its own, not like an ad for the next season. Cliffhangers feel lazy, like the writers ran out of time and just cut to black. Give me a solid ending with some mystery left, not a cheap trick to force me to come back.
