When a 'decorative' blade spec sheet read like a fighter's wishlist

I never questioned why people wanted what they ordered. Then a regular asked for a piece that was clearly not just art, and it bothered me enough to refuse. Do you ever turn down work based on a gut feeling?

Trust your gut, it's rarely wrong.

Had a client once ask for a "display case" with a lock that could stop a truck. Sketchy vibes for sure. @alex_flores24 is right about trusting that feeling. Ended up being for some shady collectibles he didn't want his wife to find.

Last summer, a guy asked for a custom knife with specs that felt off. I said no, and later learned about his past trouble, so my gut was right.
