75 blade blanks in one sitting, my thumb says never again
Spent last Saturday profiling 75 blade blanks on the bandsaw for a bulk order and blew through three belts before lunch. Has anyone else hit a number like that and just stopped counting out of pure stubbornness?

Man, three belts before lunch is rough. Used to think pushing through a big batch like that was just about grinding it out, no big deal. Then I did a run of 40 tangs last spring and realized my thumb was basically a dead stick by the end, couldn't even grip a file properly for two days. That changed my whole view on bulk work. Now I break it into chunks, stop every 15 or so, and actually swap blades before they scream. Your 75 number sounds like a badge of honor, but also a warning.
