Hit 25 years with the same knife today

I picked up a custom fixed blade from a guy in Oregon back in 1999 for $80 and it's been my daily carry ever since. Didn't realize how long it had been until I was sharpening it this morning and counted the years on my fingers. How many of you still carry a piece from that far back?

Hit 25 years with the same knife today" - man, that's impressive. I read somewhere that most people lose a knife within six months, so holding onto one for a quarter century says something about both the tool and the owner. Congrats on that custom blade, sounds like it earned every bit of its keep.

Right there with you. Got my dad's old hunting knife I've been using for... hell, almost 20 years now. Can't imagine using anything else at this point.

Wait, 25 years? How do you even remember where you put it that long? I lose my good kitchen knife every time I put it down for five seconds to answer the door. That's some kind of superpower you've got there, seriously.
