Paid $140 for a custom knife and it saved my thumb at a tailgate
Honestly, I was at a friend's place outside Austin last Saturday and this old Buck knife slipped while I was cutting brisket. I grabbed my new custom fixed blade, a 3.5 inch CruWear from a local maker, and it bit into the bone clean without skidding. Best part is I only dropped $140 on it through a guy on Etsy, which felt steep until that moment. Anyone else have a pricey blade that earned its keep in some random kitchen or campsite?
