Picked up a vintage tweed blazer off eBay and the lining disintegrated on first wear

Found this sweet 1970s Pendleton at a decent price (like 40 bucks) and wore it to a buddy's birthday dinner downtown. About an hour in I felt something weird against my arm and looked down to find the inner lining just crumbling apart like old newspaper. A few big flakes of the fabric even fell onto my jeans, which was honestly pretty embarrassing at the table. Has anyone here had luck getting a vintage jacket relined without spending a fortune? I'm thinking of just doing it myself with some spare cloth but I've never sewn anything that delicate.

Man just wear it with the liner ripped out, it's not a big deal.

Make sure you actually check the jacket fiber first though, some materials don't do well without the liner.
