A weekend project sorted my chaotic board game pile

I had board games stacked everywhere in my den. Building a few wooden crates from scrap helped me organize them all. Do you have tips for keeping game boxes in good shape over time?

How do your wooden crates stop the boxes from getting scuffed or bent?

Harrison's got a point, a wooden crate is basically a fortress for a box. It's not just about a little scuff, it's about the whole thing getting crushed flat if something heavy shifts in transit. You ever see how they stack pallets? That cardboard box won't stand a chance. A crate keeps all the pressure on its own frame, so the box inside stays perfect. Why even risk a damaged box making your product look cheap or used before it's even opened?

Seriously, how bad can a scuffed box be? I've seen boxes arrive pretty beat up, but the stuff inside is usually okay. Remember getting those Amazon packages all mashed but the product works fine? Wooden crates might be overkill unless you're shipping glass art or something. Is a little bend in the box really worth all that extra work?
