I used to think my game group was too slow until I watched us play
We were playing a new game, and I was getting annoyed at how long it was taking. Then my friend recorded a short clip on his phone. Watching it back, I saw that the real problem was me rushing people and making them second-guess their moves. I realized I was the one causing the slowdown by being impatient. Has anyone else had a moment where they were the problem at the table?

That podcast saying impatience can double playtime. That's close but I think it's worse than that. It actually triples it because you got people second guessing every move. I've been that guy before. Watch the video back and you see yourself hovering over people, making them nervous. It's embarrassing honestly.
