Lost $120 on a board game storage solution I should've known was a gimmick
Back in March I saw that fancy insert system for Gloomhaven at my local shop in Austin. The demo looked great, all the pieces fit perfect. So I dropped $120 on it, plus the shipping. Got it home, took me 6 hours over two nights to punch out and organize everything. Then I tried to actually play and realized the trays don't fit on the table if you have the board out. Had to unload half the stuff into baggies anyway. Basically paid $120 to make my setup take longer. Has anyone else bought those custom inserts and ended up going back to zip lock bags? Or is there a brand that actually works for big box games?
