Update: I finally figured out a better way to organize my game tokens after 8 years of chaos
I got sick of digging through a ziploc bag every game night to find the right player pieces for Catan. Last month I grabbed a plastic craft organizer with 24 tiny bins from a Walmart in Akron for $9. Now I sort all my tokens by color and type before we even start playing. It cut our setup time down from 10 minutes to maybe 2, and nobody has to argue over who lost their sheep. Has anyone else found a cheap storage hack that actually works for your game boxes?

Wait, you spent 8 YEARS digging through a ziploc bag for game tokens? That is absolutely wild to me. I would have lost my mind after the second game night, let alone eight years. I mean, that's basically a whole decade of arguing over sheep and hunting for the blue pieces under the couch cushions. I salute your patience because I would have just thrown the whole box in the trash by year two. That $9 bin sounds like the best investment you ever made.

My buddy Marcus had the same problem with a Monopoly set. He used a sandwich bag for years and every game night turned into a 20 minute argument over who took the thimble. He finally snapped and bought a dollar store tackle box and went full organization freak with little dividers for each piece. Now he brings that thing to game nights like it's a sacred artifact. He even labels the compartments with a label maker. It's honestly a little scary how proud he is of a plastic box that cost less than a fast food meal.
