Visited a board game cafe in Portland and noticed they had all their expansion packs stored in zip-lock bags with handwritten labels

The owner told me he does it because original boxes waste too much shelf space and it saves him about 40 percent of his storage room, has anyone else seen cafes doing this hack?

Isn't that just begging for someone to accidentally knock a bag off a shelf and have to sort through fifty tiny cards hoping the right ones are in there? Saw a place in Seattle do this once, and a kid sneezed near the display and sent pieces everywhere.

@charles_price that kid was probably me honestly (I've done dumber things).
