Spent half a shift fighting a misaligned boiler tube that was off by 2 millimeters

We were putting headers on a power boiler in Gary and one tube just wouldnt line up no matter what we did. Took me and my partner about 4 hours to realize the end had a slight burr from the saw that was throwing everything off. Has anyone else had a tiny defect like that turn into a whole morning of frustration?

Cut the burr off with a file in about 30 seconds after all that messing around.
