Tried a 3M respirator with the pink filters, now I won't touch my old half mask on girder welds

I wore that thing for 8 hours on a job outside Tulsa and the weight difference plus seal feel made me realize my old setup was leaking fumes the whole time, so has anyone else switched after one bad headache and noticed a real change in their day to day?
