Nice. Fiber gasket sheets have been my go-to for old pipe flanges. Cuts easy and seals up tight every time.

Oh man, fiber sheets are the best for that exact job. The older flanges get all those little dings and warps, and that softer material just squishes into the gaps. I keep a few different thicknesses on my truck just for weird old plumbing calls. So much cheaper than hunting down the exact pre-cut gasket too.

Actually, I've had fiber sheets blow out on steam lines before. I'm a rubber gasket guy for that exact reason.
