Appreciation post: That greenhouse in Golden Gate Park changed my mind about succulents
I always thought succulents were boring little plants that everyone overhyped, but then I saw the collection at the Conservatory of Flowers last Saturday. The way the light hit the echeveria rosettes with those pink tips made me finally get the appeal so what species do you all recommend for a beginner in a cloudy room?

Right? I walked into that greenhouse with zero expectations and left trying to figure out where to put like fifteen different ones.

Lol honestly I still don't get the hype. @kai_knight1 I bet you put all fifteen in that room and they all stretched out into weird leggy messes within a month. Those windows are way too cloudy for anything fancy.
