The $60 grow tent I bought on a whim is now my seedling fortress

I spent way too long babying trays on my kitchen counter until I grabbed a compact 2x2 tent off an auction site last spring, and now I start peppers and tomatoes without a single leggy stem, so has anyone else just bitten the bullet on indoor setup gear and felt dumb for waiting?

Same thing happened to me last winter. Bought a cheap setup out of spite after killing my third batch of seedlings on a windowsill, and now my kitchen actually has counter space again. Honestly, the only thing I regret is all the years I spent fighting drafty windows and aluminum foil reflectors. Should've just gotten the damn tent sooner.
