Unpopular opinion: My uncle said pothos roots rot if you let them sit in water, and mine have been swimming for 14 months
He gave me that warning back in 2023 when he saw my cutting jar on the kitchen sill in Tucson, and I almost threw the whole thing out. That plant now has 6 leaves and roots down past the bottom of the glass, so I want to know if his rule was about tap water, light, or just something that happened to him once?
