Vent: my fiddle leaf fig was dropping leaves like crazy until I moved it just 3 feet closer to my east-facing window in Portland.

I read that they need bright, indirect light, but I guess my old spot was too dim, so has anyone else had a plant totally change its mood with a small location shift?

Oh that's wild! So it was just a few feet that made the difference? Makes me wonder if my monstera is in a bad spot now.

Plants can be so picky about light. Mine threw a fit until I moved it closer to the window. A few feet really does change everything. Try watching the sun in your place for a day to see where the good spots are.
