Every guy on my crew says you need a wet saw for thin brick, and they are wrong
I have been cutting thin brick veneer with a 4 inch angle grinder and a $28 diamond blade for the past 6 months on a 3,000 sq ft job in Toledo, and my waste is under 5 percent while the wet saw guys are fighting chips and water lines all day. Grinder dust is rough, so I wear a P100 and cut outside, but the edge quality on corners is better and I can cut on the wall. Am I missing something, or are half these guys just scared of a little dust?
Yeah the wet saw guys act like a grinder cant cut brick and its just not true. Sounds like you got your setup dialed in and theyre just stuck in their ways.
