Had a wall collapse on me back in 2019 outside of Denver

I was laying a retaining wall on a steep slope near Golden, Colorado, and the whole middle section just buckled after a heavy rain. Spent the next two days tearing it down by hand and redoing the footing with extra drainage. Anyone else ever have to scrap a whole wall and start over like that?
