Vent: Caught a serious flaw in our corner bracing method

We've been using the same technique for years, but yesterday a corner shifted overnight. I'm starting to think the old way isn't safe with modern bricks. Have you seen this happen?

Watch them try to patch old gear with duct tape and hope. Saw a crew using a 20 year old hose on a modern foam fire, it just split down the seam. Sometimes you gotta buy the new tool for the new job.
