Picked up a 10-pound bag of oats from the bulk bin at WinCo and it changed my breakfast game

I went to the bulk section at WinCo on 82nd Ave last week and grabbed oats for like 40 cents a pound. Now I make overnight oats with frozen berries and it costs maybe 15 bucks a month for breakfast. Has anyone else found bulk bins help with meal planning on a tight budget?

changed my breakfast game" is so real tho. I started doing the same thing with rolled oats from the bulk bins at WinCo and now I mix in some chia seeds and peanut butter powder. It keeps me full until lunch for real. Bulk bins are a lifesaver when you're trying to stretch a paycheck, I've been grabbing lentils and quinoa there too and it's like half the price of the bagged stuff.

Did you catch that NPR piece about how bulk bin oats actually have a lower carbon footprint too? It made me feel even better about grabbing them by the scoop.
