Stopped at a cheaper diner in Tulsa and watched three people order the same $8 plate of eggs and beans.
The owner told me he keeps that plate cheap on purpose because he knows half his regulars can't afford anything else, and it made me wonder how many budget meals we ignore because they don't look fancy or come from a trendy blog.
