Why does nobody talk about frozen veggies being better than fresh for budget meals
I had to choose between fresh bell peppers and a bag of frozen mixed veggies for my stir fry last week. The fresh ones were going to cost me $4 for just two peppers that would go bad in a few days. I grabbed the frozen bag for $2 instead and it lasted me four meals with no waste. The texture was fine after I learned to cook them longer on high heat. Has anyone else made the switch and stuck with it?

Frozen veggies saved my stir fry game too. The key is not defrosting them first and just cranking the heat until the water cooks off and they get a little char. Way less stressful than watching fresh stuff wilt in the fridge.
