Why does nobody talk about how meal prep containers never stack right?

I was in my tiny kitchen in Buffalo last night trying to pack lunches for the week and my third container of chili tipped over and spilled all over the counter. Turns out those cheap plastic ones I bought at the dollar store warp in the dishwasher and then nothing stays put. Has anyone found a brand that actually stacks without turning into a disaster zone?

I actually think meal prep containers stack fine if you stop buying the flimsy round ones. Grab a set of those Glasslock rectangular ones with the snap lids and you will never have the tipping problem again. Tried three different dollar store brands myself and they all turned into wobbly junk after two washes. The glass ones are heavier sure but they lock together like Legos and I can toss them in the dishwasher without worrying about warping. Just make sure you dry them completely before stacking or they get stuck together.

Yeah totally, @andrew_jackson hit it. I had the same exact problem with those cheap plastic ones. They'd warp in the microwave after like three uses and then nothing stacked right. I switched to Pyrex glass ones with the snap lids and honestly it's a game changer. They're a bit heavier when you're carrying them from the car but they stay put in the fridge and dishwasher. Just be careful not to over fill them or the lids won't click on all the way.
