A hostel worker in Prague told me I was packing way too much stuff

She said nobody needs six shirts for a week of travel and after I cut down to a 30 liter bag my back actually thanked me, has anyone else had a local straight up call them out on their loadout?

Pack light they said, now my back is happy but my laundry pile looks like a crime scene.

Used to pack like I was moving overseas for every trip, honestly thought being prepared meant bringing everything but the kitchen sink. Then a hostel owner in Lisbon laughed and pointed at my massive duffel, said I looked like a tourist who didn't trust the world to have a laundromat. Got it down to a 35 liter bag after that and my back has never been happier, makes you realize how much stuff you really don't need.
