Finally cut my gas bill by $40 a month just from lowering the water heater temp
I used to keep my water heater set to 140 degrees because I thought I needed it for the dishwasher. Then my buddy who works HVAC told me 120 is totally fine for most homes. I dropped it down 3 months ago and my gas bill went from $85 to $45. Dishwasher still cleans fine and I don't scald myself in the shower anymore. Anyone else mess with their appliance settings and see a big difference?
