Rant: my car insurance autopay hit on the same day as rent and I was $38 short for 3 days
My checking account was down to $12 by Tuesday, so I ate peanut butter sandwiches from the office kitchen and skipped my Wednesday coffee run. The autopay draft for $146 cleared a day before my paycheck, and the overdraft fee of $35 stung more than anything. Does anyone else stagger their bill dates, or do you just keep a cushion for stuff like this?
