That friend who bragged about no budget finally asked me for a loan

Ran into an old buddy from high school at a gas station in Boise last month, he was all smiles about how he doesnt track a single dollar. Then he hit me up for 300 bucks to cover his electric bill, said his card got declined at the pump too. Has anyone else had someone act like budgeting is for suckers, then quietly come crawling back when the money runs out?
