A guy at the Portland stationery swap showed me his 2 notebook system and I finally quit abandoning mine every 3 weeks
Went to a little meetup at a library in Portland last month, mostly to trade washi tape I never use. Sat next to a guy in his 60s with two cheap composition books, one for tasks and one just for notes about his week. He said he stopped trying to keep everything in one book about 4 years ago and has not missed a day since. I always start a fresh bujo with big plans, a future log, trackers, the works, and quit by week 3. Tried his split for 6 weeks now. It is boring and it works. The task book has no art in it at all. Has anyone else split work stuff and life stuff into two books, or does that drive you nuts?
