Can we talk about my journal falling apart the week I actually needed it?
So my bullet journal split down the spine on a Tuesday morning, right when I was running late for a dentist appointment in Boise. I grabbed it off the kitchen counter, and the back half of the pages just slid out onto the floor like a deck of cards. The glue in the binding had dried up, probably from sitting in my hot car all summer. I had my whole week mapped out in there plus a grocery list and two phone numbers I never backed up anywhere else. I ended up stuffing the loose pages into a Ziploc bag and carrying it around like a weirdo for three days. Then I sat down at my kitchen table with some Elmer's glue and a binder clip and tried to fix it myself. It mostly worked but now the pages stick together near the middle and I have to pry them apart. Has anyone else had a journal just give up on them mid-month? And did you rebind it or finally switch to something with a sewn spine?
