Finally filled my first whole journal after starting and quitting 4 times
A guy at the coffee shop on Elm saw me sketching my March spread and told me he only writes down 3 things a day, which sounded too simple but I tried it. Six weeks later I'm at the last page with zero empty stretches, and honestly the low bar is the only reason it stuck. Anyone else find that less structure is what keeps you going?
Keeping the bar low is exactly what worked for me too. I used to plan these big detailed pages and then skip a week and feel awful, so I quit every time. Now I just jot a line or two about my day and I've gone almost four months without missing one.
