Found my 2017 bullet journal in a box last week

I flipped through my old monthly spread with hand-drawn weather icons and a two-page habit tracker, and it hit me how my system went from cute and colorful to just three rapid logging lines and a rolling weekly, simpler but somehow less fun, has anyone else gone totally minimal and missed the decorating?

Kept the plain system but bought one nice washi tape roll to mark monthly tabs, best of both.
